The Terminator Rampage - MS-DOS

The Terminator Rampage2.txt The Terminator Rampage The Terminator: Rampage is the first classic FPS created by Bethesda Softworks, based on the plot of the popular film series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. In terms of overall performance, the game is close to the precursor of the genre, Wolfenstein 3D - so we find here one-level boards, built of blocks, without a bit of variety in the form of curved walls. The program allows us to play the role of a well-trained commando who is put back in time from 2024 to 1984. Our task is to destroy the Meta-Node, which was previously sent into the past by an intelligent Skynet machine, in order to master Cyberdyne's building security network and mass production of cyborgs. Before this happens, however, our daredevil has to wade through 24 floors of the skyscraper, destroying its defense, made up of all kinds of robots, including the famous Terminators. A big advantage of the game is the large number of products with which we annihilate our opponents. Beretta, Uzi, AK-47, M-16, SPAS-12, HK-95 and M-30 pistols - fans of weapons should be delighted. The most powerful tool of extermination, however, is already a futuristic invention called V-TEC PPC. Rampage, which was used by producers as a testing ground for other products from the Terminator series, is not impressive. Despite the archaic way of building the levels, this program has comparable hardware requirements to Doom, which is definitely more technically advanced. The situation is not saved by a large number of enemies, weapons and the level map, showing our location all the time in the lower right corner of the screen.
