Ace Of Aces 1987 - MS-DOS

Ace Of Aces 19872.txt In Ace of Aces, the player controls the De Havilland Mosquito fighter-bomber, also known as Wooden Wonder, so called because of its wooden structure. The action of the title takes place during World War II in Western Europe. The player fights on the side of the Allies in the RAF forces. Ace of Aces is more of an arcade game than a simulation game. The game's intro features a computer version of the British patriotic song Land of Hope and Glory. At the beginning of the game, the player can choose to train and complete the relevant missions. The actual missions can be completed separately, several at once, or all of them at the same time. Before making them, it is possible to choose the appropriate weapons. The missions are about reaching the target and destroying it. Possible targets are: German U-boats, V1 missile planes flying to London, Junkers Ju 88 bombers, and trains with enemy troops and prisoners of war. During the flight between the targets, the player may also encounter Messerschmitt Me-109 fighters and equally dangerous storm fronts. After completing the mission, you should return to the base in England. There are no take-off and landing sequences in the game. The game takes place from the perspective of the pilot and the weapon operator at the same time. It is also possible to switch the view to the left or right side of the cabin, the bomb hatch, as well as the navigation map. For the damage done and the fuel saved, you receive points that allow you to enter the list of the best results after the game is over.
