Battle Bugs2.txt
Battle Bugs is a humorous strategy game in which tanks have been replaced by common vermin, something generally not liked by ordinary people. Your task is to lead this specific army and make it through a cruelly long campaign, containing as many as 54 scenarios. Someone once described Battle Bugs as "Command & Conquer in the kitchen" and was not mistaken much, as this object will be the main target of our army's strikes. However, this is not a rule - we also go to the open area relatively often. Most of the tasks for the player is reduced to eliminating enemy units or securing food scraps lying here and there. We have 22 units of various types at our disposal, the detailed descriptions of which are still available in the handy help. Of course, individual units differ significantly in capabilities: insects can fly, ants are fast but not very tough, on the contrary. We play the battles in real time, although we can stop the action at any time, look at the battlefield and give further orders to our charges. The watch at the bottom of the screen is relentlessly counting down the time to the end of the mission, if we fail to complete the task within the set time limit, you will have to start all over again. Sometimes this leads to paradoxical situations in which we literally need a few seconds to complete the mission, and then suddenly the program announces the end of the mission. Well, insects never had an easy life. The biggest drawback of the game is its high level of difficulty. After a few simple missions in which we learn about the most important functions of our soldiers, the program immediately throws us into the deep water and requires the use of previously acquired knowledge in action. Often, however, despite making countless attempts, missions end in a fiasco. It is worth analyzing all variants of the attack carefully, as there can be only one solution to the problem. The audiovisual setting is excellent. The game works in high resolution mode, all units and graphic elements are made extremely carefully. The music perfectly fits the war nature of the production and it does not matter if they will be jazz or typically marching songs. If we get bored of the battles with a computer opponent, we can invite a friend to the game.
