In Gods, the player will play the role of a warrior, entrusted by the Gods of Ancient Greece with the task of overcoming the labyrinth of corridors in an abandoned city. If you manage to get through all the traps and defeat the raging enemies, you will receive the greatest prize of all, the mystery of immortality. If, on the other hand, you fail, your body will become a food for blood-hungry monsters and you will suffer eternal torment. The game is divided into four large stages (city, temple, labyrinth and underground) and also consists of three smaller levels, called "worlds" in Gods. For the following sections, you will receive a special code, the entry of which will prevent you from having to struggle with the game from the beginning each time. A large number of monsters will stand on your way to the desired immortality. Some of them will try to ram you, others will try to shoot you from a safe distance, and there will also be flying creatures. The state of life energy should be carefully monitored. If it drops to zero, you will lose one of the three additional "lives". Luckily, you won't be helpless. Gods has a large arsenal of extermination agents that will allow you to strike you from creatures that come from everywhere. You will also be able to replenish some of your inventory in the shop that appears after completing each stage. Gods is an excellent conversion from Amiga, the best proof of which is great visuals. Both the interior design and the monsters are made with great attention to detail and will appeal to every fan of fantasy games. Compared to other productions of this type, Gods may seem like a slow program. We will not find here a quick action comparable to the next parts of the Zool, which for some may be an undoubted advantage.
