Scorched Earth2.txt
Scorched Earth
Scorched Earth is a simple strategy game in which the player will take command of an artillery unit and try to eliminate all competitors on the board with the help of several dozen types of missiles. Until Team 17 produced a game called Worms, Scorched Earth was the most popular "simulator of making holes in the ground". Before starting the game, we can determine the number of players and computer opponents (several difficulty levels to choose from). The competition takes place on a randomly generated terrain. The player's task is to determine the strength and trajectory of the projectiles in such a way as to get rid of all competitors as quickly as possible. After the round is over, we receive a certain amount of money that can be spent on new, more destructive types of weapons. Although the game does not shock with its beautiful audiovisual setting, it was once extremely popular. Several factors contributed to this. First, there are a wealth of options with which we can change almost anything from wind power to gravity. Secondly, a huge amount of weapons that can be purchased during the break between rounds. Thirdly, great gameplay, resulting from the simple rules of fun, an intuitive interface and the ability to take part in the struggles of up to ten people.
