Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!: A Classic Boxing Experience

Punch-Out!!, first released in 1987 for the NES, is a beloved boxing video game where players control Little Mac, a young boxer fighting his way through a series of colorful, fictional opponents. The ultimate goal? To face the real-life World Heavyweight Champion, Mike Tyson. In later versions, Tyson was replaced by Mr. Dream.

Mike Tyson Punch-Out

This game is a port of both Punch-Out!! and Super Punch-Out!! arcade games, but with some unique differences for the NES version. With simple but challenging controls, players guide Little Mac through intense matches as he dodges, blocks, and counters his way to victory.

Mike Tyson Punch-Out Characters

The game is packed with quirky and memorable opponents like Glass Joe, King Hippo, and the intimidating Bald Bull. Each fighter has their own distinct fighting style, requiring players to learn patterns and strategies for each bout. But none are more iconic than the final challenge: facing Mike Tyson himself.

Mike Tyson Punch-Out Codes

There are a few secret codes that players can use to unlock different fights or skip to certain matches. For example, entering 007-373-5963 on the password screen lets you face Mike Tyson directly. Other codes allow you to continue from different circuits or bypass certain losses.

Mike Tyson Punch-Out Unblocked

Want to relive the nostalgia of this iconic game? You can find Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! unblocked online through various emulators, making it easy to play on modern devices. There are six different online emulators available that offer options for multiplayer mode, mobile support, and different controller configurations.

Game Controls

The NES version uses simple controls: the D-pad for movement, and the A and B buttons for punches. You’ll use the D-pad to dodge left or right, block, or duck punches. A and B buttons control Little Mac’s left and right hand punches, while earning stars allows you to unleash a powerful uppercut.

Heart Meter & Knockout Mechanics

Little Mac has a heart meter that depletes when he’s hit or when the opponent dodges his punches. Once his heart meter hits zero, he becomes temporarily exhausted, turning pink and unable to attack. However, by dodging punches and recovering, Mac can continue the fight.

Winning Fights

Each fight can end in a knockout (KO), a technical knockout (TKO), or by decision if no one is knocked out within three rounds. To win by decision, you need to score enough points by knocking down your opponent and landing punches.

Rematches and Game Over

When you lose a bout, you may get a rematch, but losing a Title Bout drops you in the rankings. After three losses, it’s game over. The only exception is the final fight against Mike Tyson or Mr. Dream—lose to them, and the game ends immediately.

For collectors, you can still find original copies of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! on platforms like Amazon or eBay. Or, if you prefer digital versions, you can download it through services like GOG or Steam. For those who want a true classic experience, playing on a NES console is always an option.
