Operation Spacehog - MS-DOS

Operation Spacehog2.txt Operation Spacehog Spacehog is a horizontal scrolling shooter for one or two players. If you've ever played Gradius on a Nintendo 8bit or Project X on an Amiga, you'll know what it's all about. The player gets control of a small ship in the fight against terrible adversities. Fortunately, the player can collect upgrades along the way and use them to upgrade the ship. The nature of the upgrades varies from the maneuverability of the ship to high-tech weapons and shields. Enemies will appear one and one or in a group according to a pre-designed attack pattern. The patterns will always be the same for each level and the player can "learn" how to deal with each wave of enemies. When a wave or a specific enemy is completely destroyed, you'll receive a buff that the player can pick up by flying over it. The game is divided into levels of different lengths. Each level will have a theme, and enemies and other items will fit that category. There will be a guard at the end of each level. Examples of levels are meteoric fields, the surface of the moon, or ordinary explosions in outer space. The levels will get harder and harder as the player progresses. Enemies will get more hit points, more speed, more advanced attack patterns, and so on.
