What Are Uno Cards Used For?
Uno comes with a total of 112 cards, which are split into four colors: yellow, green, red, and blue. Each color has its own set of cards.

How to Play Uno's Special Cards

- Draw 2 = Forces the next player to draw two cards from the deck.
- Reverse card = Reverses the direction of play, switching it to the opposite direction.

How to Begin the Game?
At the start, each player receives 7 cards. Make sure to shuffle the deck thoroughly before dealing. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center of the table, forming a draw pile. The dealer then takes the top card from this pile and flips it over to set the starting color for the game.
Who Goes First?
The player to the left of the dealer begins the game. This player has three options for their first move:
- Play a card from their hand that matches the color of the card on the table.
- Play a card that has the same number as the card on the table.
- Play a card that shares the same symbol as the card currently in play.
For instance, if a red 5 is on the table, the player can place down any red card, any card with the number 5, or a wild card.
Note: You may only use a Wild Draw 4 card if you do not have any cards in your hand that match the color, number, or another wild card.
If you choose not to play a card, that’s fine. However, if you have a playable card but decide not to use it, you must draw one card from the draw pile.
What Should You Do If You Have No Matching Card?
If you don't have any cards that match the one in play, you can draw a card from the pile. If the card you draw is a match, you can place it on the table right away without having to wait for your next turn. However, if the drawn card does not match, you will have to wait until your following turn to play.
How to Achieve Victory?
To win the game, your main goal is to eliminate all your cards. But before you do that, make sure to shout "UNO!" If you forget to announce it and your opponents catch you, you'll be required to draw 4 cards as a penalty. However, if no one notices your oversight, you can claim victory.
